The new Levels: Expert guidance for real results
Levels has evolved: Our new Core and Complete memberships combine expert clinician guidance with comprehensive testing—an approach that's already driving real health improvements
After helping 100,000 people understand their metabolic health, here's something we've learned: data alone isn't enough.
You can see your glucose spike after breakfast. You can track your biomarkers every quarter. You can log every meal and habit. But if you don't know what to do with all that information, you're just collecting numbers---not changing your health.
That's the feedback we kept hearing: "I just want someone to tell me what to do." "What does this actually mean for me?" "How do I improve this marker?"
We heard you. So we're launching the next version of Levels to deliver what you're asking for: real expert guidance toward real health improvement.
From data platform to health improvement partner
Levels started by solving an access problem, helping expand access to people looking to improve their metabolic health before they were diagnosed with prediabetes or diabetes. We built software to help you understand what your data meant.
But the world has changed. CGMs are now widely available. Data is everywhere. What's still missing is the hardest part: turning that data into sustained health improvement.
That's what we're building now. We're moving from showing you what's happening in your body to partnering with you to make it better.
Three membership options for different health journeys
We now offer three paths: Levels Core ($499/year) and Levels Complete ($1,499/year) combine comprehensive blood testing, clinician review, continuous glucose monitoring, and intelligent software to drive real health improvement. Complete adds deeper testing and dedicated support for those who want a more guided experience throughout their journey. We're also keeping Levels Classic ($288/year) available for those who prefer self-guided glucose monitoring.
Levels Core ($41/month, $499 billed annually) is your foundational health assessment with guided support. It's for people who want a thorough picture of their health and expert guidance in a self-serve format. You get:
- 2 lab panels---one for baseline and one for measuring progress---each with 28+ biomarkers covering metabolic, cardiovascular, liver, kidney, and nutritional health
- 1 month of continuous glucose monitoring to understand how food and lifestyle affect your body
- Comprehensive intake so Levels understands your complete health picture
- Clinician review and guidance twice annually---not just your lab numbers, but your whole health context
- Self-serve onboarding materials to get you started
- AI-driven insights and adaptive programs
- Full access to the Levels app with habit tracking, food logging, and personalized insights
Levels Complete ($125/mo, $1,499 billed annually) is for deeper analysis and dedicated support. It's for people serious about optimization who want a more advanced path through their journey. Everything in Core, with a few key differences:
- Your two labs are our comprehensive panels with 100+ biomarkers each, including hormones, micronutrients, advanced lipid panels, and inflammation markers
- You get 2 months of continuous glucose monitoring
- You get dedicated concierge support from the Levels team
Levels Classic ($24/mo, $288 billed annually) is for those who just want the advanced features of the Levels app and one month of glucose monitoring, but without labs, added support, or clinician review.
All memberships let you add additional lab panels or extra CGM sensors anytime.
How the new Levels works
Here's what your journey with Levels looks like now, step by step:
Step 1: Complete your comprehensive intake
You start by defining your health goals, reviewing your lifestyle and history, and learning what to expect in your membership. This intake creates the foundation for a Levels experience personalized to your data, priorities, and progress, and it helps orient you to the app and program.
Step 2: Understand your blood sugar
You receive your continuous glucose monitor, set it up in minutes, sync with the Levels app, and start learning about your blood sugar in real time. You'll get immediate feedback on how your body responds to different foods and lifestyle choices.
Step 3: Complete your lab panel
Our labs measure key markers across the full spectrum of your health. Schedule an appointment at your local Quest lab at your convenience. The results will automatically appear in your Levels app and dashboard, and we'll let you know when they're ready.
Step 4: Get clinician analysis and action plan
Once your labs are in, you'll receive a detailed analysis of your data, highlighting health status, priorities, risk factors, and guidance from a licensed, Levels-verified clinician. And the doctor isn't just summarizing your numbers; they're providing a comprehensive analysis of your complete health picture. The clinician looks at your lab results alongside everything else we know about you: your health history, your goals, your daily habits, your food intake, your real-time glucose data.
Step 5: Hit your health goals
The Levels app guides you through evidence-based programs tailored to your specific goals---whether improving cardiovascular health, losing weight, or optimizing overall metabolic function. You adopt personalized, targeted lifestyle changes that support your health priorities and see real-time progress with your personalized in-app program.
Step 6: Advanced in-app insights
Built on the largest dataset of its kind, the Levels app leverages your real-time glucose, lab, and nutrition data to deliver personalized insights showing patterns, flagging triggers, and offering guidance to help you build lasting habits.
Step 7: Experience ongoing support
The app tracks your progress throughout the year, and your clinician reviews and checks on your progress. For Complete members, dedicated support from the Levels team and a functional nutritionist session help translate your data into clear next steps and sustainable health gains over time.
Step 8: Measure progress and track over time
Your follow-up labs show objective proof of improvement. Get a complete reassessment of your health state when you're ready---often around the six-month mark---with clinical analysis. Track your progress and update your goals. The system adapts to your progress.
This is what comprehensive health improvement looks like: correct data analyzed by experts who understand your whole story, supported by intelligent software, and guided by humans who actually care about your outcomes.
The results speak for themselves
We know this approach works because we've already seen it in action.
Recent analysis showed that 80% of Levels members with an out-of-range biomarker improved it over time. For example, among members with initially high triglycerides (above 150 mg/dL), 84% saw meaningful improvement.
We recently piloted a heart health improvement program focused on ApoB---one of the most important cardiovascular risk markers. More than 60% of participants who stuck to their goals lowered their ApoB in just four weeks. Our CEO, Josh, was one of them: he reduced his ApoB from 98 mg/dL to 73 through nothing crazy---just consistent focus on tracking his food, hitting daily targets for fiber and protein, adding a few specific supplements, and working out a few times per week. No starvation diets. No extreme interventions. Just measurement, clear targets, and consistency.
These aren't just numbers---they're lives changed.
Who this is for
Levels is for the proactive health seeker. Maybe you feel unheard by traditional healthcare that focuses on disease treatment rather than prevention. You want to understand and address health from a root-cause perspective. You're overwhelmed by conflicting information online and want expert guidance tailored to your specific body and lifestyle.
You're thinking seriously about your long-term health trajectory. You want a partner who can help you optimize proactively, before problems become diseases.
Other wellness platforms offer generic advice or incomplete testing, while direct lab testing provides numbers without context.
Levels combines the pieces: comprehensive testing reveals what's happening, expert clinicians interpret what it means for you specifically based on your complete health picture, intelligent software translates that into daily actions, continuous glucose monitoring provides real-time feedback, and dedicated support helps you keep moving forward.
What success actually looks like
We're not interested in helping you obsess over every glucose spike or chase perfect biomarkers. We're interested in helping you build sustainable habits that lead to measurable improvements in your health and quality of life.
Success looks like: waking up with more energy because your metabolic health has improved. Feeling confident in your food choices because you understand how they affect your body. Seeing your cardiovascular risk markers move in the right direction. Losing weight sustainably because your glucose and insulin are finally under control. Knowing you're actively reducing your risk of chronic disease.
Success is both qualitative and quantitative. It's measured in biomarkers and in how you feel every day.
The long view
Health optimization isn't a quick fix. We're building a comprehensive, long-term partnership focused on sustained improvement.
Levels started with a simple aim: helping people see inside their own bodies. We're evolving that mission to something more ambitious: helping people not just understand their health but actively improve it.
If you're ready to move beyond just tracking data and start actually changing your health, we've got the tools and the guidance to help you do it.
